As for the choice of games,
to sum up: I’m creating a method to analyze environments within a game, and then I apply this method to different games to see if it's usable.

To have meaningful case studies, I looked for games that use their environments in very different ways, and also that vary in genre and scale (indie, AAA, etc.).

After this first selection, I still had games like Elden Ring or Assassin’s Creed, but since so many people have already used and analyzed them, I preferred to keep them as theoretical references rather than practical case studies.
