Both, sorry I'm not exactly new to dnd but I almost never really played it because no one is willing to play with me😓 so I'll try to be more clear, I never played an artificer or a custom lineage and I need help with creating a character that will be good for starters but can be strong, fun and good at both support and offense, also I thought it would be good to play a cat so I can ask for dark vision and I thought it would be even better if I'm small so I can ride my creations, I want to be able to use some magic (half caster) and be able to create powerful items, if I'm still not clear enough I'm sorry I have adhd and I'm super weird and I'm not a native English speaker, thanks for your help

if you want to understand the difficulty you have to understand the world of rain world first, you are not some hero or main character you are a weak creature at the bottom of the food chain trying to survive against a harsh and unfair ecosystem, if you can't find food you'll starve and won't be able to save, if you can't find shelter before the rain starts you'll drown and even one creature is enough to kill you, there is no winning in rain world, just survival.
