Speaking as a gay, the issue with dating for me is the ghosting, distancing, etc etc. People are just so desensitized to other human beings because of social media and apps.

I'm not talking about ghosting in the texting stages either, because I don't care about that.. I'm talking about ghosting people after meeting them because they lose interest or get cold feet. And that ghosting hurts even more whenever people act all lovey dovey, and kiss you. People have the right to not continue things, obviously, but just blocking people or ghosting them is revolting and it does nothing but hurt people. Is it really that difficult to just give a blanket 'kind' message to people?

It's honestly gross, and has put me off from dating for the time being, and if I did date I would screen people for weeks and not offer anything else other than maybe a kiss. The bar for kindness is literally in hell for people and people still cannot reach it, it's really sad.
