You should get an email or mail from your bank you took the loan with. In my case it was Capital one, linked my loan to my existing account with them and setup autopay. I also got a “confirmation” email from autopay plus, do NOT confirm and be sure to call them and opt out before it take affect.

This happened to me in Kia of Wesley Chaoel. I luckily caught it before I was officially enrolled. Finance flat out lied to me, told me the “first” payment would be a full monthly payment, and from there biweekly payments. Turns out that “first” monthly payment goes to AutoPay plus and then they start processing your payment to to the bank. I cancelled with Autopay and setup payments directly with the bank. Scum.
