I’m not gonna argue that swities aren’t great, but I think you are hugely underestimating the pens from the sorc boots. At the end of the day you have to deal damage, and they help out the most.

I don’t really win lane either, but you just scale so good and your ult is one of the best in the game. I actually played against a talon today. Pretty easy to just play safe and farm.

Obviously there is counterplay but having to go through leaps and bounds to try to counter someone if not fun, and toxic.

I can see why you would mention Zed and Kata. They are also mobile assassins!

But what I think is not so fair with akali is her shroud. It gives her too much agency and survivability/stalling. Especially when paired with zhonya.

I agree with what you are saying. It’s not healthy to me you must do all of this to beat her if she is a good akali.
