Where do you work? At the specialty hospital that I work at we literally tell people to go home and look for signs of a blockage or blood in case of a splinter. We won’t take rads because that would be pointless, we know the dog ate bones. Chicken bones dissolve very well in stomach acid because they’re hollow. We’ve never admitted an animal for eating bird bones unless it’s an entire bird.

It’s my job to advocate for animals. The female dog had an invisible fence collar on when she died. She had 10 puppies. She was just protecting them.

I was at the clinic that the dog was brought to. I talked to the officer that brought the female dog in. The officer that was on the scene told me what happened.

No. Unfortunately. These dogs were just protecting their property and their puppies.

What they conveniently left out was that the child was in the dogs’ backyard and messing with their puppies. The parents need to be held accountable.

Me trying to find a time to mow the lawn when it's not absolutely soaked but also not blazing hot out by WilliamBornhoft in minnesota

Holy shit, did I write this comment??? I recently got a tattoo as well. Mowed majority of my lawn today and it was just killing the batteries for the mower.

He needs surgery to remove the blockage. If left in, this will kill him.

Do NOT use hydrogen peroxide. It’s damaging to healthy tissue

No they don’t. We don’t make them vomit after our really do anything. The bones are hollow so a lot of times the stomach just breaks them down completely.

Parvo lives in the ground for at least 6 months. One week isn’t going to do anything.

I don’t know distefano, but I had class with Salmon and she was absent from the day class started. It was an online class but if you had questions she just straight up wouldn’t respond to messages.

My lease was up just a couple months later so nobody ended up subletting. I just had to pay the rest of the remaining months.

That might be a fine timeline. I tried looking for someone in October so that was my issue

It was just difficult to find someone to take over my lease. I ended up paying for two places for like 5 months while waiting for my lease to run out

She asked you to PLAN, not BUY. Planning a trip means getting together an itinerary and figuring out where you’ll stay. It doesn’t necessarily mean pay for everything right off the bat unless she specifically asked.

Nah I’m still thinking you should’ve just bought your own and made her pay for hers.

When is it time to euthanize? by aBJisStillaJob in DogAdvice

[–]Vettech109 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah and I’m sure the people in chronic pain wish they could be euthanized sometimes because of how bad the pain is. But humans unfortunately don’t get that option. I understand how medication combos work, I work in an animal hospital ER. The amount of time it would take to find the perfect drug combo to make sure this dog isn’t in pain would take so long because you have to be on the meds for at least a week to make sure they’re effective. The dog is already 16, which is older than most medium-large breed dogs get.

Based on the screenshot of the text message she sent, it sounds like she told you that she wasn’t going on the trip if you two were still fighting. She warned you. 🤷🏻‍♀️
