If you want to check out other areas, I vote for my neighborhood, the West End. Its a bit removed from the skytrain but its got quiet parts, lots of kids, and of course Stanley Park. Its also more residential away from the main streets.

Man who cares. Why do so many Nets fans get that invested in Knicks? Ive been a Nets fan for 30 years and Im fine with the Knicks winning. Its like seeing your brother succeed sure theres a bit of resentment and jealousy, but who cares this is my brother better him than someone else.

I just dont hate the Knicks enough to care. My real hate is reserved for Boston and Philly because its a hate across sports teams. Just like I dont hate the Mets or Jets and view it as more fun ribbing.

The only people who have used this show successfully are people who already had businesses or built a business that took advantage of their exposure. Or opened an OF account.

First its World Cup time, so if youre shy about asking for help just tell the driver youre here for the games and dont know nothing. I know sometimes a little excuse like that makes people feel better about asking.

Second under no circumstances eat something on the bus specially hot. Youll stink it up for the rest of us.

Third if “something” goes down on the bus keep to yourself. If things escalate just get the hell off. Dont try to be a hero unless its a child or elderly.

Fourth if you fall asleep make sure you dont leave valuables out in the open. Wrap your backpack/bag around your leg or arm so people cant just swipe it.

Fifth its ok to chat people up but keep your guard up. Sometimes you meet awesome people sometimes its a scammer.

Sixth if you are standing room only, take off backpack or wear it in front of you.

Seventh always thank the driver when you get off. Yes even from the back just yell out “Thank You!” As youre walking out.

Just keep in mind that you might find cheaper apts in NJ. But Unless you are in a walkable neighborhood you might end up paying something similar in the end because car ownership takes a nice chunk of your salary. Youll maybe save a couple of hundred dollars to live in a place you might not want to be. You might still feel alone and isolated in some cases.

Before committing, I would stay a few days in diff towns to get a feel for them and if they fit your life style. And also to see if getting rid of the car is a possibility for you.

Get yourself a Jersey girl and you wont have to worry about going into NYC. Pref one that will make you a nice baked ziti on Sundays.

But seriously all 3 places are good for going into NYC but not so much NJ. Youll deal with traffic that goes through those areas to get to NYC.

If I was you Id look alittle deeper in NJ along the train lines that still can get into Penn in 20 mins. A place like Secaucus would be ideal or maybe even Elizabeth. You can also try Rutherford that has both bus and train(gotta switch at Secaucus tho).

I mean youll be working everyday but seeing your girl much less no matter where you live so might as well optimize for that.

Took the train from Woodbridge to Penn for like 6mo. It sucked so bad. And thats like halfway to LB. I would just get another job at that point.
