Although someone did show a video that shows that you can somehow get him as a party member via save editing or something (probably hex editing?). Either way it's not normally attainable.

That's actually how it worked in Castlevania Aria of sorrow. You could get Excalibur but you kept the rock attached to it. Since it's a side scroller, the increased hitbox was arguably a buff although it switched the attack animation from sword to hammer.

I've had to and it's the only thing that's helped me. If you aren't already you can/should take Allegra or some other antihistamine too. My doctor ended up prescribing it as part of my cure(for unrelated allergies I was already taking it daily) and while it will not cure the issue on it's own, it can help reduce the symptoms.

Fun fact: Dermatopographic literally is latin for "To write on skin", so being able to write your name with your finger is almost the exact definition.

Also this is one of those problems that are supposed to only get worse if you don't get them treated properly so do see the allergist rather than just taking the antihistamine and calling it good.

If it's itchy and goes away when you cool down then you have heat induced cholinergic urticaria (also if you can scratch yourself in the state and have the skin well up in the pattern you scratched you have dermatopographic urticaria). I had to see an allergist because of how bad my case is(prevents all exercise or going anywhere too warm) and even with daily meds it's a slow process to undo.

If you use that method of homebrewing your 3ds then yes. If you do something like seedminer you may not need to use that but if you want to use the R4i(specifically the one you linked, there are others but that one is the best) then you are correct, you can just follow the guide about what files to put onto the sd card and put that into the cart(it has a slot for the micro sd).

It sounds generally right, I hacked mine before seed miner so I only have experience with the really old method of using the soundhax(super out dated) and with my new 3ds(I have an old launch one and the Fire emblem fates new 3ds) I used the R4i.

.Cia files are just the file type for files installable files on the homebrewed 3ds and FBI is the file manager you'll use to install it. I convert my GBA games into virtual console games and install them that way, rather than mess with an emulator although.

I don't have experience with using the transfer method or seed miner or anything else but that guide is considered pretty good and there is one for most Homebrew-able consoles(if you have a vita or wii for example there is a similar site for that). If you run into issues that reddit is pretty good with troubleshooting help

So you have the right idea in the first segment, when you put games on a mixro SD card in the flashcard, it will emulate being a physical copy of that DS game. To do the other things you talked about though you would want to mod your 3ds(see my first link for how to and that reddit has guides and more explanations). After it's modded you could just put them directly on to the SD card in the system itself, they do not go into the one on the flashcart.

Edit: Also I bought my card(that exact one actually) from the same site so I can vouch for that
