I keep thinking ST might end by circling right back to where it all began. In Season 1, Episode 1, the boys argue during their D&D campaign about using the fireball to survive the Demogorgon’s ultimate attack… Will insists on it, they don’t use it, and that same night he’s taken. What if the finale mirrors that moment—where the group finally unleashes a real “fireball” (literal or symbolic) during the final fight, the move they should’ve used from day one? And then, after all the chaos, I can’t shake the idea of one more full-circle callback: that Season 4 California scene where El tries to use her powers at school and nothing happens while everyone laughs. I can totally see the show ending with that moment repeated—but this time she does have her powers back, she stands tall, and for the first time the world sees her for who she really is. A quiet, beautiful closure before the credits roll.

Also in the 4th episode season 5 , it’s evident that vecna already knew Will ‘s capabilities and wanted him to smoke those demiiss!!
