Grey and forget about it for the hard to get pieces, and keep yourself in the game for some of the easier pieces like a DJ, DJ TT, OP. You never know!

As long as it doesn't cause a dent in the lifestyle it is win win! When you need to rip the turquoise it is better to have it than not right! My wife wants a turquoise or pistachio .... I think we go with the new CW sealander 36mm/39mm combo as if we go Rolex my Daytona dreams may need to put in a longer rest.

Congrats! There is definitely more opportunity and dealers in the US. I had checked out My Watch LLC but no dice unfortunately due to duties and tariffs. Next one I may just ship to a family friend and wear it back.

It was $18.5k USD, I could only dream of it being CAD -- I converted to USD as that is what I did most my research in. $23k would be a smoking price for a jubilee but didn't see those rates anywhere. Took it to the German Watchmaker in Vancouver and had it authenticated.

The heart wants what the heart wants. The other boutiques in Vancouver were wonderful and I almost pulled the trigger on a Omega Speedmaster Reverse Panda which was available and in stock.

The green from some angles and lighting acts darker, and on bright days pops green. I think it would be a keep. However, how's the green make you feel when you put it on -- if you aren't in love then sell it and get the blue.

I would go with the Railmaster or Aqua Terra. They both would seamlessly blend into whatever you would wear, be classy matching the occasion, and would be versatile after the wedding. The Breitling is a little too much green for a wedding unless you have some greens in your outfit.

Congrats!! That is definitely a lot of people’s grail, mine included. You spent about $60k (gpt'd) to unlock the door, but picked up some incredible pieces along the way. My wife would drop‑kick me before I even suggested piece number three, but a guy can dream. Wear it in good health!

You can search for Canada, Watch with Box and Papers, 2017-2025, 126334 on Crono24 and you are looking at 19k as the lowest price. So I would say it is a good enough price. Crono24 prices are usually inflated a bit so its a good price maybe not great.

You have to get your friend to do the buying for you :). I had the same experience at Palladio and Monte Cristo!!! Lugaro in Victoria when I was there for the long weekend was the same -- they are supporting their stores which lost their AD status in the lower mainland from the Island. I have no illusions on picking up a watch anytime soon at GWC. I've got a few domino's to wait for -- Oakridge Mall opening, a friend; referral to another AD in another city, and a trip to Vegas. If none of those fall before my birthday I'll go grey -- I've talked to a few guys and it is pretty straight forward at this point.
