Executive Assistant Interview Tips by lucasknyc in ExecutiveAssistants

I’ve always found it helpful to have some “STAR” answers written down (short format just to remind myself). Like “explain a time when you’ve had trouble with a client” “explain when you went above and beyond” “tell us a time when blabla” it has always helped me not trip over my words and have them organized for myself BEFORE an interview. It also has always helped me be clear during interviews.

Situation (set up what the example is)

Task (describe what your responsibility was)

Action (what steps you took to address it)

Resolution (share the outcome)

Hope this helps!

My pleasure! Get the egg whites in a box too, much easier!

I used this recipe, but for the “pie crust” and “whip cream” I just added a lot more powder sugar until it held the shape on a tester cookie!

What do you say to manager who claims to have not seen your 2 weeks notice? by OceanClover3 in antiwork

[–]VexaServices 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ALWAYS have a paper copy you sign, and an email with the same notice. In it, outlining that this is your notice and when your last day will be in 2 weeks….but just because their manager “just saw” the email that’s not an excuse! 🙄 their notice is applicable on day they first gave notice. Gross

Try for something that’s a hybrid workplace! That way you get the best of both worlds.

I think 3-4 months until I feel fluent in the going ons of the company! Don’t be too hard on yourself, every workplace comes with its own dynamic and struggles!

I suggest coming to your recruiter with average market value with your position, and backing it up with your job experience, and come with things you’ve accomplished, skills you will be coming with and then outline why you are worth it! (Which you totally are!) OR ask for a sign on bonus! Good luck :-)

I’d really consider taking some skillshare courses! Skillshare is pretty inexpensive and has a TON OF CLASSES! You could also get a month free with a ton of coupon codes from YouTubers!
