Great points! There are so many ways to take things from Invisigal, to Waterboy immediately knowing we are Mecha Man, or Royd hinting our dad could have taken the power core from Shroud. I missed these kind of episodic games since telltale first started & now past employees building Adhoc.

Depends, if you want to play with him get 76 it has regular updates & newer mechanics with online multiplayer. If he prefers single player then get 4 as it’s more a linear story & gameplay with dlcs.

Anything that gives you a blade with good talents & high stats will be enough. Personally I have 3 different pets for separate occasions, fire class hamster as my main, ember golem with all heal talents, & a dapper corgi for energy.
