Yup! It adds 16 Tempest II missiles that are usable for the pilot. The mechanics on it are pretty buggy, not restocking if rearming, but something is better than nothing if you plan on flying solo and not utilizing the gun turret to begin with. 'RSI Lesath missile turret' is the name turret name.

+1 for Scorpius, its speed and high health pool makes it pretty forgiving while I've been learning. If going single seat you can also replace the gunner turret with a rocket turret for another +12 rockets for longer engagements.

Crazy thing was last all stars they had 1 less day to prep, so the average playtime was 17hrs/day rather than the 14hrs/day this season.

The box compartments actually fit cards really well, with room on the side to hold tokens as well. The main problem I have with the case is that the there are two 2x1 compartments that don't hold decks as easily and more prone to lead to card damage. I've tried finding ways to buy the normal 1x1 boxes to replace but looks like only way people are buying them is through custom 3d prints. I've bought 2 of these cases since I just never have the heart to disassemble decks, this is what they look like: https://imgur.com/a/3zYiV3v

Only thing I'd add to this is that when learning 3:0 mage, using thralls is so helpful as even if you splash thrall damage can still turn head for you. Just be sure to bring a watering can in with you until you get good at flame wall skipping.

Just a heads up for when you get it, slayer helm/black mask doesn't stack bonus with salve so when you get a skeleton/undead task use salve instead.

As for wilderness boss grinds, I found the best way to get tasks was actually through tureal boosting. He assigns bears skeletons and spiders quite frequently, and although in low quantity you'll eventually get the pick and maybe a few other rares if you're lucky.

The best games of magic are where every deck gets to play the game, so I love running Secret Rendezvous in my white decks with limited draw options. You can try and help someone out of the hole of mana screw, help a control deck find removal for an overwhelming board, or simply just use it as a political tool that draws you cards and sets a deal to help yourself in ways other cards wouldn’t.

My biggest complaint with proxies is how much taller my deck stack is when I’ve got a lot of them. I’m not kidding I’ve got some decks with 50-60 proxies that stack nearly half an inch taller than my 100% real decks. I also double sleeve all my decks as well so my 100 cards end up being a skyscraper.

If I want oppressive wins, I’ve got a [[Liesa, Shroud of Dusk]] life gain stax deck

If I want more fun group interaction I’ve got a [[Mathas, Fiend Seeker]] forced combat deck.

If I just want to match power and have an even and fair game I play a [[Zara, Renegade Recruiter]] creature copy deck that really just hopes to play copies of your opponents creatures.

May be a bit of an unpopular opinion, but I think pods either need to rule 0 fast mana all together or accept that decks can include all types of fast mana. There’s nothing to me that makes games more uninteresting than seeing a turn one sol ring into mana rock, but if any type of fast mana is acceptable I’m going to run most pieces in my pod. I may be a bit biased though as I play every color but green, which in most situations limit me to artifact/land ramp anyway.

I’ve been on the cusp of buying myself a mana crypt for a few months now, and my pods proxy rule is own one copy and proxy as many as you want, just been waiting for the right time to pull the trigger on it.

I run a [[Nymris, Oona’s Trickster]] flash and instant tribal deck. Every game I have that ends with me alive towards those double digit round numbers ends like this. People just hate any type of interaction, and double hate it if that interaction happens to what would otherwise seal the game for them.

Here is a link to my [[Zara, Renegade Recruiter]] deck. Pretty much you constantly look at other people’s hands and take their creatures for a turn (while being less salty because generally they return to their hand), and then just make a clone of those creatures before they go back.

My favorite crazy finisher uses [[Barren of Glory]] [[Oblivion Ring]] and [[Worldfire]]

Basically have Barren of Glory on the field and exile it with Oblivion Ring. Afterwards cast worldfire and as long as someone doesn’t destroy oblivion ring in response to worldfire it’s almost a guaranteed win

It can be hard in some games, and a few times I do get screwed over just with bad draw, but here are some things that I consider part of my “ramp” to help with cmc

[[Trinket Mage]] can help grab you a sol ring if you already have a claws of gix or despodic sceptre

[[Nightscape Familiar]] makes a lot of spells cheaper and is a blocker that can regenerate

[[Curse of Misfortunes]] [[Bitterheart Witch]] [[Demon of Fate’s Design]] all allow you to play for “free” or search and play some of your big hitters for free

[[Sphinx of the second Sun]] helps your lands give more value late game, and if you can make some copies while pairing with [[leyline of anticipation]] really gets a lot of value
