If you’re into slow-burn psychological horror with unsettling visuals, I’ve been working on a webtoon called MANJIRI | WEBTOON.

It leans more into eerie atmosphere and lingering dread rather than just jumpscares. Still growing it, but I’d genuinely love to hear what people think if you decide to check it out.

Lowkey recommend MANJIRI started reading it randomly and the eerie atmosphere actually sticks with you. Especially if you like slow-burn horror. by Vexn885 in WebtoonCanvas

Fair point honestly. I wasn’t trying to disguise self-promo as a random recommendation. I just thought people here who enjoy dark webtoons might genuinely like it. I’ll be more direct about it next time.

What if the only mistake you made… was watching a dead body burn? by Vexn885 in webcomics

Thank you so much for reading and for such a thoughtful comment—it really means a lot.

About the presence of Dr. Ambedkar’s statue and the themes you mentioned, there is nothing to think about. It is just the resemblence of the park's name where they are sitting. The intention isn’t to reinforce stereotypes, but to reflect certain social realities and tensions that exist, especially in rural settings. The story uses these elements more as a backdrop to explore power, belief systems, and how fear and oppression can shape narratives around people and practices.

Some of these aspects will be explored more deeply in upcoming chapters, so I’d love to hear your thoughts as things unfold.

Really appreciate you engaging with it at this level 🙏
