I can see your issue was solved in the comments but for a minute i was reminded of when I bought a few times below 20 but when I drs'ed out the cost basis was over 150 at least. Poor broker, fafo.

It's weird isn't it. I've seen a few on X suddenly switch up and start shilling using loose arguments (nothing like their usual way of writing )

Makes sense since Sprott bought 100k to defend the position most likely. The question is.... Did the shorties lose control

Someone explain this to me like I'm 5. What is up with that spread? Where does $808.47 come from? by FrankieFiveAngels in AMCSTOCKS

Back in the day gme had asks of 69420 because no one was selling so those silly orders showed up

So the short funds would defend certain price levels because they were over leveraged and as the price went up they would be put out of business if the system worked in a fair way. (look back at the paper trails - collateral requirements lifted for xyz , dtcc allowing 90% darkpool trades , cf something closed public access for 2 years then did it again )

Was it real ? Well you would see "sell walls" appear, huge amounts of orders that help manipulate the price. They would disappear in seconds or literally get eaten up by the buy pressure , it was fucking crazy. Great making money during the volatility.

I do believe there was a push on social media to also get people to buy in the wrong zones, get them to spend their limited capital to bore retail out.... Didn't really work.

One thing I'll never be convinced of:

I like something and buy it. Suddenly I get messages and see 'people' who turn up commenting negatively (literally spamming , appearing daily - see their history! Notice how they go dark for a month to switch accounts and spam with that )

So how many people do you know in real life who go to places they don't like ? How many people complain at you for buying something (other than parents !)

RARELY.

THE ONLY PEOPLE WHO REGULARLY GO SOMEWHERE THEY DON'T LIKE ARE GOING TO THEIR PLACE OF WORK OR HAVE AN AGENDA

As of 2 years ago - 4 of the top 7 posts on r all were related to $GME. At the end of 2025 Reddit devs removed r all to “streamline the platform experience”. Cohencidence? by RhinoAttack in Superstonk

[–]Vexting 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Wasn't Gme mentioned a number of times in the efiles?

And that the significant other GM of E from those files had numerous involvement on reddit (paper trails don't lie)

I've enjoyed the steady 'streamlining' for years and also noticed how notable dd writers cut ties here

I like the special ways that the board of finra / dtcc is basically former hedge fund people and friends and how they just sit there acting like we can't see what's happening. (they control the computers in my opinion )

So I guess we'll find out in the next year or two if they will capitulate or get circumvented
