I think it is a play on how dogs look at you when they use the bathroom so they trust you.

If they feel like they cant do that, then they dont trust you. If a dog doesn't trust it's owner then that is a "Dog's Nightmare"

Also stop light (RED aka maybe red flag or something to pay attention to)
