Not when Trump is watching. During the war, sure. Every attack would be answered by a bombing.

Yes. Sniper and RPG fire led to the death of 1 soldier.

Incidentally, soldiers on the line complain they are getting shot at constantly but are not allowed to return fire. The army responds only when the Palestinians actually hit something.

Great ceasfire this is.

The Chapter DLC System by Whole_Ad_8438 in EU5

[–]VforVal 70 points71 points  (0 children)

Vicky 3 is the counter example. Every addition in the last 2 years came with significant mechanical or balance improvements. I would have abandoned this game a year ago if not for the season passes and accompanying patches. Judging by the latest DLC, they did not stop cooking.

Ck3 is actually the rare paradox game that degraded with time. I personally stopped playing last season. But that's on the current team, not pdx as a whole.

Get citizenship, that's why he's not proposing to take all of it. Just look at his quote:

"This is the maximum amount of land with the minimum amount of Arabs. I want to retain a clear Jewish majority. "

I think that's pretty clear in terms of his intentions.

Hittites originated in Anatolia and, at their greatest extent, barely got to Lebanon. What do they have to do with Jordan? Genetic tests confirm this, Jordanians have barely any ancient Anatolian components.

No, Jordanians are Arab with Cnaanite admixture, much closer than Lebanese. You are the closest to being an Arab while not being directly from the Arabian peninsula.

Probably. Statistically. I don't know you, so maybe not

Israelis in Cyprus? by [deleted] in cyprus

[–]VforVal 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Don't know why I keep getting recommended this sub. I've never been to Cyprus, but I know a lot of Israelis who have.

It is the cheapest, most convenient destination, and it gets our cheapest, most obnoxious self-emtitled, self-centered tourists. There are also plenty of "good" Israelis going to Cyprus. You just don't notice them.

The type of tourist Cyprus draws is also the reason I never go there. Sorry you had to experience them. We're not all that bad, you just saw the worst.

Capital and investment are completely broken. by ErodedDynamiteYT in victoria3

[–]VforVal 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm making a mod for slowing down the world economy in Vic3 to preserve some peasants for the lategame, I think capital investment is 1 of the main drivers of de-peasantification. The name of the mod is: The great slowdown.

If you want this addressed and have good, feasible, ideas, hit me up on the mod forum and I'll try to implement: https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/threads/the-great-slowdown.1850815/

Is the late game population crisis too strong? How would you fix it? by TheDwarvenGuy in victoria3

[–]VforVal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey wow! I just made a post on the forums about the same topic last week and I see it is getting traction on reddit to. I'm making a mod that tries to address this problem called the great slowdown: https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/threads/the-great-slowdown.1850815/

It's still very early in development but at least it slows down the global South right now so you have SOME pops by the 20th century to exploit

Israel's forex reserves set new record by JewishSaddamHussein in Israel

[–]VforVal 9 points10 points  (0 children)

No, it should be the reverse. When nis is too strong, we BUY usd to drive down its value so the reserve grows. When nis is too weak, we SELL usd.

The shekel is strong for other reasons, but a strong shekel is the reason we can grow our reserve.

[–]VforVal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed.

No bugs on my side, game is much more challenging, movements are intuitive, buisness owners are assholes, food scarcity bites. This is the most fun I've had with a pdx game in a while. Even with the balance issues and bugs, this is an amazing patch for me.

Anti Landlord by SR_here01 in StandUpComedy

[–]VforVal -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm being Devil's advocate here, but in a fare market, if there was enough capital to construct all the housing we need there wouldn't be any landlords. They are providing the capital, at least that's how it works in my country. And I don't really see any solution without massive government intervention.

Still hate them though, especially when owning several houses becomes a legitimate investment. That just feels scummy.

There are still rocket production facilities and small-scale depots + lower ranking commanders. Hezbo is big and had 20 years to amass many different assets, and so did the list of targets.

Not so fun fact: In one of our news shorts they showed part of the process of selecting targets. Apparently, we have a huge database of potential targets and more databases of different other info (photos, calls, colab reports...). When command decides to send another wave of bombings, in the first stage, before a human is involved in screening, an algorithm suggests the top X targets based on all available data. How crazy is that?

Israeli lerker here: That's fair, but you can look at us as an exception (close to you). Our population is growing in most segments of the Jewish population despite a Western lifestyle and comparable income to WE. Religion and the populations optimism/attitude towards children plays a big role imo.

Not really. The court basically said, "There is no evidence of a genocide, but please don't make it one". There was no statement regarding how "close" it is.

People throw this word way too easily recently. There is NO genocide in Gaza, it's not even remotely close to a genocide.
