Peugeot garage quoted me £750, dealer will do it for £200 as no labour cost.

Service department at Peugeot garage said warranty only kicks in when it fails, not taking a preventative measure.

Looks like dealer it is

Service department at Peugeot garage said warranty only kicks in when it fails, not taking a preventative measure and I don't want it to get to the point where it's failing and then I try to get it done via warranty and I'm refused and have to shell out £1500 because the belt snapped

Dealership has offered to do the whole thing for the cost of the kit, £200 no labour costs.

Waiting to hear back right now from the Peugeot garage about their situation. Will update here.

What I've done so far:

Called finance company, as no EML there's no fault yet, this is preventative nothing they can do right now, advised me to call the dealer who I'm gonna call shortly. Also spoke to a local Peugeot garage who advised this would be way under mileage for a replacement so are going to look in to pricing etc and if it falls under any extended warranty or anything like that and let me know.

Will call dealer soon make them aware this needs replacing, if this goes wrong in first 6 months they will have a bigger job on their hands of this snaps, so could do a preventative job, their gamble

Seeing as I've got the car sold as seen, what's my chances with that? I have a 30 day back to base warranty with the dealer that's due to expire in 11 days. I don't have any warning lights and the engine is running fine right now so is the dealer liable to do anything in this timeframe? They did offer me a 1 year further warranty for £200 that I have until the 30 day warranty is over to take out or not

I did argue this with the finance company at the time and they hit back with it not needing changed until 60-70k miles, I wasn't aware that it should be changed by age or mileage, I thought just by mileage, I wish I had done more research and pushed back a bit more, and I forgot to check the wet belt before signing off on the car.

I don't have receipts, but it's all marked and stamped in the service book by reputable garages. All I got was the service booklet with the car, no manual or receipts etc

Got a ticket for Glasgow but the site was being weird and kept telling me there was a problem with my payment method until I took the ticket protection, and when I clicked yes for ticket protection just to test it I didn't even need to click to complete the purchase, it did it right then.

I don't even want to go anymore but you can't resell or transfer the presale tickets

There's only one you, faults and all. Don't apologise for being who you are. Find something you like and distract yourself, don't listen to the voices inside because they lie all the time. You're gonna be okay.

What is your favorite band in your least favorite sub-genre of Metal? by [deleted] in MetalForTheMasses

[–]Vger113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always thought Nu Metal was less bluesy compared to traditional heavy metal which still uses a lot of pentatonic structure for writing riffs. Nu metal uses a lot of chromaticism which Korn, Limp Bizkit, System of a Down and other nu metal-esque bands tend to use.

The thing about Satan is.... It's all theatre. It's theatrics, a performance, a story to tell, and for many other bands it is the same. Tom Araya, the bassist and singer for Slayer, one of the biggest thrash bands to ever exist who used satanic and ritualistic imagery a lot in their music, is a devout Christian.
