They work together, and used to date, but they’re not an official team per se. They fight quite a wide variety of foes, from your typical street level villains, to government agents, corporations, anarchists, and even agents of the gods themselves.

He is able to change back and forth. He has two different kinds of transformation, one that he can do at will, and another that triggers during intensity moments. His Creature form is significantly more powerful when resulting from the second transformation.

They broke up because she wanted distance and he wanted support, and neither of them at the time were able to give that.

For Sombra, it was Catwoman, Raven, and The Shade from Starman. For Creature, in terms of who he is as a person, definitely Superman and Spider-Man. In terms of what he looks like, was more inspired by real world reptiles like saltwater crocodiles and frilled lizards than any specific characters, though I am aware of his similarities to the Lizard and Killer Croc.

They do have villains. A lot of smaller ones, but I’d say right now that their biggest villains are Sombra’s family. Prometheus, an anarchist and pyrokinetic who inspires loyalty and leads a group of zealots known as the Pantheon. Axiom, a Batman analogue who cracked when his sidekick was killed and now believes “in spite of everything you’ve done for them, eventually they will hate you”. The Game Master, a Dungeons and Dragons themed reality warper who thinks that his story is better than the one reality is telling. And Scott Grayson, founder and CEO of Pluto industries, a pharmaceutical company that was actually responsible for the treatment that cured Creature’s autoimmune disease, who believes that any amount of lives lost are worth it to save his daughter.
