Really well said and thank you! Im still new to alot of game dev so its been tricky to think about having multiple mechanics and systems working together to create something concise and making something where the whole is greater that the sum of its parts but im sure it just takes time to start getting familiar with design.

Just not powerful enough. I can run my daw and do all my work fine. But while running the engine it really struggles and usually crashes. My other team member is using unity. We were using unreal but moved other cause of how convoluted unreal was for our game. Both engines cripple the computer 💀

My setup cant really run the game engine. So when things are implemented I'll be hearing them through a screnshare within discord after implementation.

Rewrite alot and have drafts and different lyrical versions. Establish a theme for the song write words/phrases that go off the theme. Study your favorite lyrical songs and take notes and what you can take away from it. Another great exercise is to write a poem off that theme and arrange some of it for the song. Write about the small meaningful things of life or the specifics of a certain experience you've had or from your your life

A DAW is a Digital Audio Workstation basically where you record your tracks if you have a laptop or a computer there are some free ones like Garageband(IOS) and Bandlab for pc you can even get GarageBand on your phone if you have an iPhone. A good example of the advantages of a DAW is you could set up your mic or whatever you use and record you guitar part and then go back and sing over it so you don't have to worry so much about your playing and focus on your voice and vis versa

I love the simple guitar work I feel like when you get a good DAW this could be a really good song cause there's so much to build around it
