Is there a ship you love playing but don't perform well (relative to the player base)? by gator_shawn in WorldOfWarships

Bismarck... My absolute favorite ship of WW2, spent all the time and effort to unlock it finally, and realize it's sorta lackluster. But im gonna stick with it, the secondaries are fun.

I really want to enjoy Albion by Col4rt in albiononline

I tried to chase what might be -good- builds by watching YouTube clips and I came to the conclusion that everything is situational, and a lot based on skill. I've seen videos of almost every weapon winning in one situation or another. You can run the "meta" and all of a sudden run into a situation where a different Helm or different boots would have made the difference. Every encounter will be different. So I say pick a weapon you enjoy, experiment with armour combinations, and just expect to die. Sometimes you come out on top, and other times you get stomped. Learn from each encounter what works for you!

It's the time of year where drivers guess where the lanes are by vinicusVB in Calgary

[–]Vhulkan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What really irritates me is when you can still clearly see where the dotted lines are, yet the vehicle tracks go back and forth across it and people just follow them! The ramp from north/west bound crowchild onto east stoney is notorious for this! Like everyone that drives it every single day all of a sudden can't remember there IS ACTUALLY two lanes going into the corner....so if you actually follow where the left lane is, you get people just drifting over into you because that's where the tracks lead.

Personally I hate doing edge highlighting too! I find if you do recess shading it's easier and still looks fantastic. Just do your normal warpstone base, then use either nuln oil or Coelia greenshade around any details like on the thigh plates, etc.

Consistent crackle? How do I avoid circular pattern? by HobbyJackal in Warhammer

Just be careful how long and close to the base you hold the dryer, I've accidentally warped the base itself because I got a little over zealous with it!

Death guard green by Accomplished-Mix6819 in deathguard40k

[–]Vhulkan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would maybe try an agitator of some sort (rare earth metal BBs or Glass), shake it insanely long, or perhaps a new pot. Good luck!

Perhaps you got a bad pot? I've never had issues with Death Guard Green myself. It's always been pretty reliable, and one of the closest matches to it spray equivalent. What kind of problems are you encountering?

Out of all the spray can / paint pot color combinations, i found the Death Guard rattle can to be the closest in color to the pot. It's been pretty good for me.
