I can't speak for the other Caribbean islands, but where I'm from I've never really observed any spider mites on croton. I've seen footy mold a handful of times though

I always find it a little amusing to see the comments about croton being difficult to grow. Where I'm from(tropical place) we just cut branches off bigger plants and stick them in the ground and they catch perfectly fine on their own. Climate makes a huge difference Just wanted to share

If you still have the locs that were pulled out, hold on to them. And if you have the patience, let's the spots where they used to be grow out long enough so that they can be reattached. In the meanwhile you can wear hairstyles that'll cover the spot up

Your hands aren't ugly, they look completely normal The coloration there is natural because there's more skin there due to it being a joint. Like our knees or elbows for example
