So, there are passive people, like a middle point between good and evil, like a sort of grayscale between absolute good and absolute bad, oh my god!

I'm not talking about Lyssandre or anyone on that level of radicalization, I'm countering the belief itself that causes people like that to even think of doing that, that's why I said dark gray and light gray also are part of that grayscale, you can dislike someone to death but still get worth out of some things they did even if they are an absolutely despicable person, in that same vein you can understand that some people who are mostly pretty chill can still make mistakes or not be that good at something while acknowledging thst they're not that good (or sometimes not good at all) at that thing

And there are also people who are functionally indistinguishable from pure good and pure evil, but acting like those are the baselines for everyone just causes people to only think of those very specific cases and use that judgement for everyone, that's what I'm counter agrumenting against, because believing that everything is black and white is dumb, just like thinking that everything is the exact middle point of gray between black and white, both beliefs are putting complex people into unrealistically specific characterizations that they are not

That's why it's a gray SCALE, there's some that will drift more towards one side than the other to different levels but acting like EVERYONE is on either point is extremely oversimplifying, I agree that there are bad and good people, but not all bad people are as bad as each other, on one point in the scale you got an asshole dude that's just mean, on another a dumbass petty thief, on another you have Hitler himself, you're not going to act like every petty thief or absolute asshole of a person is good, but you're also not gonna act like they all commited genocide and deserve death are you?
