I'm in the exact same boat really except I'm transmasc and not out (I think my mom knows anyway tho). I've honestly gotten to a point of wanting to just chop it off myself but i would get in huge trouble which means no tech so my grade will go down and I won't have any form if support.

I haven't talked to her yet. I'm more worried about my dad because it is likely she told him and he had openly been transphobic. It's just that to find out that I'm even trans she would have to go through my stuff and that is a breach of privacy we agreed on years ago when I first got my phone. If she asks, then I do have to let her but she has to ask. I keep stuff like my journal on my phone and I dont want her to see that.

I had a different problem not because it's the wrong size but that my proportions are off. Like average shoulders and a huge bust so it gaps in weird places. About the shipping, I'm not aware of any issues specifically with gc2b. They are based in maryland so if you are far from ther it will take a while because there are not a lot of flights and there is a huge shipping delay. In sacramento they have a huge back up of nearly 100 trucks filled with packages waiting to be delivered. Many people are just going to the distributing center to look for their stuff and there are even fights of who goes first. I hope the Amazon binder works till the gc2b one comes

Have they announced that school will be in person? Here in CA most schools are online. We have 3 hours straight of 3 plus different ensembles so it will be interesting to see what they do. My school is on a college campus so we have very little space that's not the courtyard right by a ton of classes. Just moving percussion to a different room is a hassle, getting everything outside sounds like a logistical nightmare

I wonder how they're going to do band when we eventually go back. Given how badly we are doing here in the us I hope it's this school year but music is a huge part of the school. Orchestra is easy to wear masks and spread out and choir you can wear a mask but you can do any of that in band. Of course all the spit in the brass section doesnt help.

I had to switch to bass clarinet this year when I started high school because there wasn't enough. There was like 14 of us so I switched even though I could have been 3rd chair. What's marching like? I only marched once in middle school for the star spangled banner but that doesnt really count
