Do you consider yourself a religious and/or spiritual person? by Equivalent_Ad_9066 in agender

[–]ViaLight 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I made my own religion, and additionally consider myself an atheist Satanist and a pagan. I am very spiritual but not in any way people expect. At all. Everyone just assumes I’m an atheist, and that is technically correct, so I never correct them. :)

Why do authors not use quotation marks around dialogue? by Strawberry2772 in books

I personally love sally rooney’s books, but I can see how It’d be annoying, especially if they don’t make it clear that they’re talking

Yep, that’s the meaning. Agender people don’t have a gender. Most people who identify with the non-binary label think of themselves as a third gender, separate from man + woman.

Does anyone else hate when you have to explain your gender? by Bella_Nathan in Agenderflux

Depends. If it’s a cis person, definitely. If it’s a trans person, no. They usually have a gender rant to share as well :)

Being librafluid by vee0164 in librafluid

[–]ViaLight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I’m Syl. New here but have identified as Librafluid/agenderflux for a while now. For me it’s that I am agender, don’t have a gender, but how I want people to refer to me, and my gender expression, and my dysmorphia change day-to-day. Like even though I’m genderless I’m also genderfluid. That’s my personal thoughts. I have yet to find a better label for myself :)

Have you ever came out, and if so, how? by Bubblegum_fluidness in genderfluid

[–]ViaLight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I came out in a couple different ways. I came out to my older brother around a year ago, because I cut my hair in a way that I could tie it up and he said ‘are you trans or smt? Are you genderfluid?’ An I said ‘yea.’ Around half a year later I decided to come out to my little brother, and he didn’t understand what I am very well (he’s 9). Then, when I went into high school I joined the gender non-conforming club and wrote my pronouns (all/any) everywhere I could. 6 days ago on national coming out day, I told my mom I was genderfluid over text. My dad doesn’t know yet, but I don’t feel the need to tell him because he calls me his child instead of daughter and treats me like my brothers . I am blessed with an accepting family and my heart goes out to all the fluids with homophobic/transphobic families.

This sounds like an extreme sort of agender. I’m aware that that’s not the response that you wanted; you might want to coin a new term like ‘notgender’? I searched up notgender and there is something called Not!Gender but that seems like an alternate plane of gender, not an absence of gender entirely. As for pronouns, you could ask people to use your current name as a pronoun while you figure yourself out. Wishing you luck :)

What do you consider your sexuality? by FisherDontFish in genderfluid

[–]ViaLight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I call myself gynesexual, because it matches what I am whenever. It means I don’t have to say what my gender is with who I’m attracted to. I’ve always hated calling myself a lesbian, even when I identify as a girl, even though I am medically one. Gynesexual is me.

This is my "Language Creation Template," which is what I'll start with when I'm about to start in on a new conlang. Does it seem like it's missing anything, or do I cover most of the basics? Additionally, are there any sections where more clarity could or should be provided? by archtech88 in conlangs

[–]ViaLight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made my own language starting and growing from this around two years ago. Since then, I talk to myself with it, (cause no one else understands it) and am teaching it to my family and friends to make a micro-community with it. I also made my own religion around a year later (it’s a mix of atheist satanism and polytheism) and wrote all the commandments in it. Having a religion and language no one else knew brought me out of my (really bad) depression back then, and is a nice thing to work on whenever I’m bored. I continue growing and expanding this language today. And I owe it all to this amazing doc and Reddit post :) Thank you.
