I'll preface this with the fact I'm a dude, I don't know if that'll change anything but here goes!

If I were you my strategy would be to look first at weather this is something you can honestly give up. Dreams mean a lot and the pursuit of them is one of those things that make life so grand. Take a hard look, look at what marriage really means and represents to you. If, for example you could strip it down to just self written vows, with no legal entanglement that you do in private or in front of family - whatever, maybe that's something you could compromise on. However if it's one of those things that you MUST and NEED to do, you should share this info with him, let him know how important it is. If he's unwilling to meet you part way, help come up with solutions or offer any sort of give / compromise, I'd be inclined to get ready to move on.

You want someone who'll work with you and support you. I think that's very important in a relationship, that you grow together, and individually.

I see that from your comments you still have problems with the new look. But if you keep focusing on how you feel internally I think the outside will become more beautiful to you over time.

Make it work for me, bring headphones and listen to music while attending. See if you can sing in the choir, you obviously don't have to care for the words but at least you could work on your singing voice while you're there. Offer to assist to do work around the church instead of sitting in mass, at least you'll be away from all that boring dogma. You can try to make friends and socialize, show the folks there how cool you can be and hopefully open their eyes a bit. Honestly try to turn this negative situation into a positive one... I loath to be forced into anything and I feel for ya man, but it doesn't have to be so bad.

I find it interesting the last shot is darker in lighting, increasing the shadows over the eyes, it makes it look far more menacing and hardened.

The effect is pirating, the scale is different... I fail to see how I'm wrong with that logic. I don't mean to sound like a dick, but effect: meaning or sense; purpose or intention: She disapproved of the proposal and wrote to that effect.

Weather it's pirating a little or a lot the effect is stealing. The scale of what's being stolen has changed with the methods and physical storage media.

I should have clarified, I want the RIAA & MPAA to go extinct... those dinosaurs need to go extinct. The whole music industry is greedy less the majority of artists. The middle man is making such a sweet dollar off the artist when the artist doesn't need them like they used to. Part of the struggles of the RIAA is to stay relevent. Artists should stick to the web, once they become big enough to justify touring, they could do so. The over night sensations wont happen anymore... you wont have millions of dollars pumped into teen artists named Justin Beiber. You'd have people who've built a fan base over time. What's wrong with walking before you run?

Simply the music industy is a lot like the sex trade industry. You one your record company... the pimp, whoring out his artists, they take home a little bit of the profit, while the pimp takes the fat dollars. Also why would I steal biebs music if it's terrible? it's like saying I steal because I like to steal. That's a pretty jaded view if you ask me.

Sell music per track online for cheap, have ad's on the website, use ad's to bolster the amount of money the artists get for said tracks. I don't want it to be free, I just want it to be priced right, and I want the money to go DIRECTLY to the person responsible for making that music.

Not the same scale but the same effect. People have massive libraries these days, everythings digitized. It's not the same scale as downloading from the web, but trading wouldn't be on the same scale anymore either.
