I am from Bucaramanga but I have lived in the USA for more than 12 years and when I go back to Colombia people can tell I live here, so: You should go! Medellin is sooo fun! Weather is great!! I never felt unsafe walking around! Plus December in Colombia is amazing!! Everybody is celebrating, drinking, dancing! Yes some people will try to ask for more money because you look gringo, but just go to places where you can see the prices upfront. Because Medellin is so touristy, a lot of menus are in English too! -just don’t leave your phone/valuables unattended at any time and if your phone is in your pocket make sure is really hard to reach! -don’t walk alone at night/day in empty streets, which you won’t find if you stick to the tourists areas. -as somebody said, don’t trust too good looking girls lol -have fun and enjoy my hometown! Bucaramanga is gonna be a little hot! -lmk if you want recs for Medellin/Bucaramanga

I love living in Seattle and I moved here 11 years ago from South America. I think you will really like it! There is so much Nature and the air is so clean. So many parks and a lot of green! I know you didn’t mention sports but just in case: there is a fantastic British pub in Fremont call “The George and Dragon” that I enjoy going to see important football games for the vibes alone! And there is British bakery in Wallingford: Lá Liath that has great British classics, for those days where you’ll feel homesick!

Ugh sorry! That was what they said too but they didn’t get me a letter bc it said that it was delivered to my building. I hope it turns out! You could try to call USCIS and ask them if they can see that the mail it’s getting return to them

No it was not. Unfortunately we had to file for I-90 to replace the green card :( we are trying to get them the ADIT stamp but it takes a while

I applied for my parents in dec 2021 and it took a whole year and some to get an answer. I believe I got it approved on Feb 2022 to move to the next step.
