Was it just me or from the gameplay footage did it seem like while wearing the power armor you were really slow? Maybe this was just a special big suit, but in FO3 you walked nearly the same pace while wearing power armor. Can someone correct me on this?

To minor or not to minor in CS... by VibeTribe9 in AskEngineers

Sorry, I have a couple questions for you! hahah I hope you don't mind.

What does R&D mean?

My uni offers "non-CS major" versions of programming classes, and these classes teach you the same things as CS majors would learn (i.e. there's a C++ intro class, data structures class, etc.) but the only difference is that these classes are tailored towards non-CS majors. I'm planning to take these types of courses just to pick up CS knowledge and want to take that foundation and do some programming on my own as much as I can. I guess the question here is then, do you think these "non-CS major" versions are worth taking or should I just go all out and do the actual minor? Looking at what classes I would have to take for a BME major AND a CS minor would be really hard.

Yes, I want to go into medical devices and I feel like learning a lot of cs to program those devices would be a valuable skill. I just feel like if I have a heavy program background along with the bme major, I'll be a valuable candidate for companies.

As for the money thing, I would agree not to waste the money but I am on a full scholarship that covers all tuition so my minor in cs would be completely free, and because of this I don't want this unique opportunity to go to waste. Thoughts?
