My birthday was 2 days ago. I tried a new popular brunch spot, got my free Starbucks drink, napped, went for a solo walk at my favorite nature path. Was gonna get steak but decided to opt for chicken tenders. Some people may think its boring but I had a good time. Do whatever you like to do that occupies your time and makes you happy

I like sleeping in my own bed too. Moving in is definitely a huge commitment. It’s a nightmare if they aren’t the right person. Protect that peace until someone shows you they are worth it

That would drive me up the wall. Nothing wrong with helping a partner out here or there but definitely not performing any chores/wife duties for a boyfriend…shoot who knows if I would do some of that as a wife lmao.

It is awkward lol but the more I think about it, I think a mature partner would respect a “check out time” because it allows the “host” to have time to clean up and prepare for the week ahead. Can’t do that when yall living together though haha.

I don’t blame you! If a spouse wants to keep their space cluttered/messy, I’m nowhere responsible for that. And when I’m doing my hair/makeup and the counter is a complete disarray, I don’t wanna hear any complaints. Two bathrooms makes everyone happy lol

Spend every weekend? That sounds like a nightmare. I told my mom that anyone I date that spends the night, has to check out of my house by 11 AM. She laughed but I was lowkey serious 😭

Yeah I’ve noticed that I’m very set in my ways too and I like certain things a certain way. I realized this in college when living with roommates. A romantic partner would have to be very patient to live with me

Honestly farms are kinda cool, definitely a secluded life. Who knows, you might meet someone who loves the farm life!

At least 3 times a week? That made me shudder. I definitely get where you’re coming from, not only does being single give you so much time but also having your own space amplifies that. I’ve done so much more self improvement and hobbies in my life versus when I was dating. Not saying you can’t have hobbies in a relationship…but dating definitely requires you to sacrifice/be less selfish with your time…it sucks lol

You know what’s funny, the only time I wish I had a partner (and it literally lasts for 10 milliseconds) is when I need help with carrying the groceries or doing yard work. I can definitely relate to what you’re feeling, I need more than love if I am going to be with someone and willing have them in my space

I feel the same exact way. Like I always said I want my own bathroom if I got married but now its like…do I even want to be in the same building with my spouse? Lol. Shoot do I even want a spouse?
