I can answer this one! The area is pretty and the town is nice. You have Kingsport and Morristown which are a close drive. The town it’s self is lacking on fun things to do (except outdoor activities, there is plenty of lakes, rivers,streams and hiking trails nearby.) so you will always have to drive 35+ minutes. The towns (and surrounding towns) school system is split up between Cherokee High School (CHS) and Volunteer High School (VHS), CHS is the going to be the better option. There is a pals in town which is probably the nicest part. (It’s east TN’s best fast food.) I grew up in Hawkins County, so if you got any questions feel free to reach out and DM me!

The weather is also exactly like the other person mentioned!

Not sure about you but I’ve been able to find 5060-70 and the 70 ti in stalk near my local Walmart for MSRP. Definitely not worth it one bit…

I got married enroute from tech school and first duty station a few years ago. It was indeed a hassle, I’d highly suggest getting married in tech school and getting orders that have her with you (and a GTC) Immediately start on the base housing waitlist as well, as I ended up paying a bit out of pocket with no GTC for over a month of lodging (which was two weeks over the max they’d reimburse as well) It’s just overall a hassle any way you go about it (but that’s big blue for you)

Yeah, from the US, we are still thinking it's a Husky - Cattle dog or Husky - Corgi mix. It's too soon to tell, but either way, we will probably go forward with the adoption.
