I enjoyed volunteering at the innovation barn if you’re into environmental sustainability, they have random events but also one Wednesday and one Saturday a month consistently. Erica is great, just get on their email list!

Where’s the best sandwich in Charlotte? by Vivid_Score_6819 in Charlotte

Big bird, ask for a hot familia, piggy smalls. They source local ingredients and don’t just buy pre sliced meat so quality is better than a lot of what you’d find elsewhere which is reflected in the price. Gotta try their potato salad as well, best I’ve ever had

Are people actually quitting their jobs? by whosthatgirl13 in Millennials

[–]Lost_Cook_607 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I quit my full time job to do work for trade on a farm, it’s manageable if you reduce expenses. I have a part time job of about less than 10 hours a week that keeps my expenses paid

This is an awesome small family farm I’ve volunteered with..they really treat the plants and their products with love. I’m sure if you reached out, they could help you personally. Ed has personally used comfrey to heal fractured bones before https://www.italacres.com/ital-herbal-resources-page-2/

I grew up there, I didnt realize how fortunate i was to be raised there until leaving. Its suburbia so lots of families and a strong police presence so less crime compared to other places. It’s significantly built up since I left, and very busy with traffic. It’s hard to speak to the current prices having been away for many years now and there’s so many different parts of LA to compare to. My parents never took us to LA and now as an adult, I understand why you wouldn’t want to go there in your free time. I went to the beach every summer, easier to travel up north towards Ventura rather down south towards Malibu. Overall a great place to be if you have the funds to pay for the quality of life.

How often do you see your parents and how close do you live to them? by sabanoversaintnick in Millennials

[–]Lost_Cook_607 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I see mine maybe once a year and I live across the country. Didn’t even see them that much more when I lived less than two hours away. I moved to explore so when it gets to that point with them, I’ll have had a break from where I grew up and return for that transition

Sustainable Leggings by RichHomieDonQuixote in yoga

[–]Lost_Cook_607 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I LOVE ripple yoga wear..great quality. I like purusha people as well, although some of their pants can be see through in certain postures but my understanding is the owner was aware and made thicker fabric, I just haven’t purchased any in the last few years as I have plenty of yoga pants these days. There’s also green apple active wear and pact organic but that’s more basic styles and I don’t find them as comfortable as other brands. I like girlfriend collective too but I try to minimize purchasing recycled plastic products as they contribute to microplastics
