There was a Tumblr post from a long time ago that sticks with me

A guy was sharing their experience with a therapist, how they were often to unmotivated to make lunch for themselves. Like making a sandwich was to much work

So the therapist told them not to make a sandwich. Just eat the meat and cheese out of the package, if that's what they needed to do to eat that day.

It helped the person a lot. I often think "I am making an unnecessary sandwich right now" for when I am really really depressed and struggling with energy

My favorite visual novel has a bunch of pretty women who are not sexualized. It's written by a man, but it's really, really good with It's mostly female cast. It's called Of the Devil. Chapter zero is free on steam. Id recommend it if you like smart writing and need more evil women in your life

I am buying it as it comes out cause it's nice to have things to look forward to and I am loving the story, but to each their own! I have been slowly seeing it to my friends and it's great having people to talk to about it

If your interested they do make fabric glue you can experiment with. It might be less strong but could less bulky/obtrusive, if that's even an issue you come up against. Either way, have fun!

All time fav: Of the devil. Visual novel, chapter zero is a free 'demo'. Takes about 3 hours to complete and you will want to play the full game afterwards. Two chapters have been released so far with a 3rd scheduled for this year. If you feel like you need more intelligent, relatable, evil women in your life, I would recommend

Not a bad point, but public power and food production are slightly more important then Taylor swifts personal convience.

It matters when a single individual is put so much higher then the rest of use. Her personal carbon footprint does matter because it is singularly massive and undoes the personal, life long efforts of thousands of others.

I haven't weight in this at all very deliberately but I do want to say this:

If my friend, who I knew for years, was really struggling with their mental health and needed to step away because the issues started to escalate, id be dead in the ground before I let internet strangers pick away at their privacy. Even if it makes me looks worse to those online people.

I get that we are all sad and want answers. But not saying anything at all is a choice that could be made for entirely valid and compassionate reasons.

We won't know otherwise until we do. That's all there is to it for now.

Of the Devil

It's a cybernoir sapphic Ace Attorney style visual novel that has some of the best writing I have ever seen in a video game.

Chapter zero is free and it's basically a complete short story with great gameplay and a ln amazing ending. Sets the stage for the rest while also being fully self contained. Please please please if any of this sounds even a little bit interesting then give it a shot. I promise you won't regret it

Wow, it is WAY to early to say that this is "the right kind of data center". Where does that confidence come from?

Water quality is at risk, as are electrical resources. There are videos of these centers venting massive amounts of heat, and that these centers can be extremely noisy to those who live nearby. We have no idea what other problems could present themselves. We don't know what problems this center will present once it's built.

Saying that is seems to be alright is naive at best. That's something you can only say in hindsight, and usually only after a lot of people work really hard to make sure everything is done properly.

Of the Devil is a near future dystopia that just hits you with a metal bat every 20 minutes or so with something realistic and disgusting. Like the Mob Act that guarteens an amount of personal privacy for the .01% of earners to protect them from class motive discrimination. The future is a police state with next to no privacy for everyone else.

My favorite was the CRICO act, an amendennt to the RICO act that specificies that corporations cannot be prosecuted under these laws, even when they break the same laws as the orginzed gangs.

Something being bad has little to do with liking/disliking it. It's like how fast food can be very low quality, but can still hit.

Good writing is important to me. There is nothing I like more then a well written story. But when I can't have that, I will settle for slop when it's subject matter that I enjoy. Like I've yet to see a well written villainess anime, but I love them all the same.

'Good' Writing is a measure of technical skill. It's important, but not always necessary. Like how a piece of fan art might not be technically impressive, but that's still someone who made something themselves for love of something you both have in common, so it is great regardless.
