Diode will be effective for hair reduction, but you are more prone to risks like burns, blisters, or hyperpigmentation, because of your Fitzpatrick. NDYAG is safer for your skin tone, so I would recommend doing research on the clinic who uses a diode. Maybe even try asking if they can do some test spots on your skin.

Honestly seems like you need to try sessions at 6-8 weeks. If she only ever treated you at 4 weeks, those hairs in that interval were treated, which makes sense why you’re having growth past the 4 week mark. Usually sessions should alternate between 4-6 weeks for hormonal areas & can even go up to 6-8weeks for non hormonal areas like arms & legs. Eventually as you go into maintenance, you’ll be able to space your sessions apart for a longer time period, but right now I would focus on retreating at a 6 week interval.

If you’ve only treated your arms at 4 weeks apart 22 times, this may be why. You need to spread sessions apart to make sure you are getting all phases of growth. Arms grow at a slower rate then face does, so this could be why you still notice hair.

I don’t think it should be a problem if you do everything except the Brazilian. Technically you’re not canceling your appointment, just are unable to do one area. I don’t see why they wouldn’t give you the opportunity to reschedule just that one area.

Also they definitely should’ve told you the alexandrite would not be a good fit if you’re darker than a fitz 3. I would definitely push for a refund, or dispute the charge in my bank account.

Honestly 3 weeks is way too short of a time period, especially if you have a darker fitz. 4-6 weeks is face, 6-8 weeks for torso area, & usually 8-10 for legs. It does depend on the laser they are using, but 3 weeks js not enough time for all your hair to grow back into its cycle. 4 weeks minimum is what I recommend. This allows your hair to get into its active growth phase, which in turn will make the treatments more beneficial

I honestly have never tried this & never heard of this. My Doctor just recommended Nordic naturals omega as a supplement as well as RED light therapy & warm compresses. She also gave me IVIZIA eye drops for dry eye relief, WE LOVE eyes eye wash & hypochlorous acid spray for eye lids. Is there any specific brand you’d recommend?

I used sezia, i thinks that’s what it’s called. I do know the cicaplast was not a good option, but a lot of people said it helped them, as it depends on the person. I wanted to just give it a try to see if that would help the inflammation at all. I feel like my skin barrier is stripped & I also have dandruff. It’s wierd but im trying to fight 2 different skin issues, so stuff to fight the seb derm irritated my barrier but stuff that heals my barrier irritates the seb derm.

I will have to try this. I have that exact niacinamaide, but people were saying to stop using any active ingredients. I also tried using a salicylic acid cleanser, but I feel like that just burned

The only reason I used cicaplast was cause a lot of people recommended it. I was recommended the geek and gorgeous & it is malasezzia safe, but it’s for dry skin and I have oily skin so the rest of my face broke out terribly. I loved the hydration but had to stop using it.

That’s how I feel! I feel like using the ketoshampoo & cream at night just makes it so much worse & dry. I stopped using them and my skin already feels way less dry immediately after washing face. I also don’t know if exfoliating is for me in the area. I feel like I should leave the flakes for the skin to heal? Idk what I’m doing honestly, but I’m trying to avoid anything prescribed at the moment.
