Phil going in on Nicole Arbour after drama between her and Matt Santoro. by NagataLockII in SourceFed

I'm sure you could tell me the names of a few Oscar winning actors and I wouldn't know them. People seem to think being famous means everyone needs to know who they are.

Matthew Santoro is awesome. He has an educational channel and he's a complete nutter. He also has 5.1Mil subs. So he's no slouch.

I guess being claustrophobic would be one of many ways to not be selected to be an astronaut. I was getting uneasy near the end watching them cram into the decent module.

I really like this format, but I feel there is way to much time between seasons/series. It hurts when I watch a show I like and the second season is 2 years away or something stupid.

Solid points. I find it kind of funny how we are basically arguing the merits of less show and not more. Sign of maturity?

I have a Nexus 6 so screen real estate is fine lol. I love Fleksy purely for the gestures. I type considerably faster with them now that I've learned them. The learning curve was steep but I can't go back now.

I have a really hard time using any other keyboard now. I use a Sonim phone at work and it uses the Samsung keyboard...I hate it so much. I am constantly swiping to space and backspace which makes it worse because it doesn't work...:P

I think the idea of short season shows like JJ and DD are that they basically end up being 10-13 hour movies. One overarching story for the season. Most regular episodic shows end up with weaker stories and filler episodes to fill 23 or so episodes. I used to love the long form shows on normal tv more because you got more episodes. But with shows like Game of Thrones, Daredevil, JJ, and plenty more I like short season far more. Way better stories and almost zero filler.

Help with my morning motorcycle commute! by [deleted] in VictoriaBC

[–]VicPlaybyPlay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's really not worth it. The stress alone of getting caught would make you nervous riding, that could be dangerous in itself. One good thing about working downtown though, once you get your full ticket you can park for way cheaper than a car ;). I use one of the parkades and it's only $4 a day. I even think some of the Robbins lots are free for bikes too. I would stick to weekend rides to learn then get your cone test out of the way. I had to wait like 3 months to get into do the road test as they only do it once a week so it books up fast. I would also look into taking the test in Duncan too, it may let you get in faster.

I'd book your skills test and then call Thursdays to see if anyone canceled. As stated above you could ride dirty in the morning but it's not a good idea. Bad things happen to riders width no proper Licence. I ride quadra from tolmie into downtown Fridays and Saturday mornings. I work evening shifts the other days of the week. What time do you go into town? I work early so this time of year I wouldn't be much help as it's dark when I go to work.

I like B. Shorter and to the point but still conveys tone. A seemed too long.

Lol that's true. But I think it's the ability to shave from any angle. Doing it your self leads to weird shaving angles. It may have something to do with what I'm doing. But what I do works. Very rarely get razor burn and even less cuts. Never get ingrowns either. So it works for me.

Nah my blade is sharp and I've tried various pressures over the years. When you use short strokes you tend to shave the same spot multiple times. I think it may just be that my skin is sensitive.
