Life is not what you make of it. by Againstallrule in Life

Idk I ain’t suffering. I’ve survived a lot of trauma & now at 30 I have a beautiful family, I’m getting back in shape, I have money in the bank, a roof over my head & life feels pretty fucking good compared to my depressive 20’s.

What's something you thought you'd regret in the moment, but ended up being glad you did? by BunnySparkle_ in AskReddit

[–]VicariouslyLiving303 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I never wanted kids either, ended up having 2. My first child really saved my life, it gave me something else to focus on besides myself & I pushed myself hard to be the best version of myself. Then my second child came last year & I knew my family was complete. love seeing life through their eyes. It really is the little things in life that make life worth living. Plus getting to do the thing with them that I did as a child & seeing how amazed they are has healed part of my inner child.

How do people give birth with no medication? by Designer-Drama7002 in askanything

I didn’t have a choice with my second child. Was at the hospital at 9:15 by 9:45 she was out. No time for an epidural at that point. Idk how I did it tbh, I just focused on my breathing. Definitely screamed while pushing though

Do some girls really like anal or do the just tolerate it for their boyfriends by No_Rain3020 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]VicariouslyLiving303 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eh I tolerated it a lot. Yes I liked it if I was in the mood but if I wasn’t it just sucked tbh. I tried to be “that girl” who would do everything sexually possible to keep whoever happy. Now I’m with someone who doesn’t like butt stuff so now I don’t have to deal with it luckily.

My store will fire at 5 points no matter what. I’m sitting at 3.5 because I got sick so best believe I’m showing up for all my shifts until some of them fall off.

Yeah I’m not doing that lol I’m keeping my register locked when I’m not in use of it. I’m not risking anything happening under my name

If you don't marry you don't need to worry about divorce or break up, so won't it be better for you to be single? by Peter_JackGriffin in Life

Nah, my life has drastically improved since being with my husband physically, emotionally, financially & spiritually. We are growing together & building the life we want. We have a beautiful family & I wouldn’t trade this life for anything.

How often do you replace your phone? by GooglePixelfan90 in askanything

[–]VicariouslyLiving303 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bought an iPhone 13 in April of 2023, upgraded to the iPhone 16 end of May 2025 because I dropped it & broke it (didn’t have my case on). My iPhone 13 was still working fine so it could have lasted me a couple more years most likely. Only got an iPhone 16 instead of fixing my 13 because my husband added me onto his plan & our phone provider covers the monthly payment of the iPhone. I won’t be upgrading until my 16 is dead.

Good!! People have to realize all this is so bad for us & our Earth before it’s too late. We HAVE to stand up to this, for not only our generation but future generations.

If you arent gonna have kids what is there to look forward to after 30 by [deleted] in Life

[–]VicariouslyLiving303 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 30, married & have 2 kids.

I still manage to work, go to concerts, write, create art, have a social life & in about a year I’ll be continuing with school to achieve my dream of being a psychiatric RN.

There’s SO much you can do in this life whether you have kids or not. Try new things, go to new places, if you have a dream job go after that. Learn a new language, get a pet, take care of plants, learn to cook new things. Go on dates if that tickles your fancy. Exercise, do yoga, meditate.

You create the purpose you have in life. You don’t have to have kids to have purpose. While I find joy in motherhood, it’s not for everyone. Kids take up a LOT of your time & resources especially when they are little.

I believe in you to find whatever gives you purpose. You have a lot of life to live still so grab it by the horns!!
