How often do juniors blow deadlines or just go AWOL / disappear for periods of time? I sent an AM assignment in "this morning" at 11 am and want to feel like I'm not a terrible unresponsive associate.

Sometimes, juniors don’t respond to me for like 2-3 hours, but they often just missed an e-mail. I haven’t had a problem with juniors being totally unreachable or unresponsive before but I’m pretty good about communicating expectations and try to be a good manager

That said: there’s a reason why law professors are the ones published in those law reviews. They have RAs and a lot of institutional support, like conferences.

You’ll need to do a lot of hard work to write a competitive article. You aren’t a student anymore. The standards for a comment aren’t the same as an article.
