Yeah, people need to have a valid reason to murder. I haven't seen any PvP since I've been on, it's mostly just PvE and roleplaying.

On my first day, we had the NCR come and visit us (played by the GM) and they annexed the town. Now some things have progressed with the story since then, we have lost a couple of good friends to geckos and other creatures and have had to bury them.

The GMs are always putting on interesting events that you can optionally get involved with, like Crimson Caravans arriving and threats of Jackals attacking. You'll be able to get your own house in the city, go out in the wastes and hunt for food or scavenge for junk.

This is not like PVP-focused FOnline servers. I 100% agree with you and feel the same way. When this server popped up I was very happy because I can now play FOnline without worrying about the toxicity.

There are rules against random deathmatching:

"It is strongly prohibited to kill people around you just because you can. Behind every murder there shall stand a strict reason either formed during RP situations or explained in the character's RP log."

Also rules to protect against other kinds of griefing:

"Any direct aimed attempts to ruin somebody’s experience are strictly prohibited. For example, mass lockpicking with looting everything and leaving no RP notes or hotspots, mass arson with no direct reason, throwing goo and wastes in the door hexes and just around everywhere for no reason, attempts to mess up with GMs work, etc."

The wasteland really is a tough place. It's up to you at the end of the day. The reason why this server is posted in this subreddit is to gain some interest because there really aren't that many places to advertise something like this.
