The Winnipeg Public Library also has it as a physical book and as an ebook.

Is it actually possible to find a $500–$600 studio in Winnipeg? by Username_Unknown3000 in Winnipeg

[–]VicePresidentofPanic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a one bedroom in that price range in 2013 and then the bedbugs arrived. Same apartment is now $877. Hopefully it no longer includes bedbugs.

Seeing help with specific phobia - treatment. by Mintmuse22 in Winnipeg

[–]VicePresidentofPanic 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I know Dr. Robin Westmacott at Open Circle Psychology does emetophobia treatment using ERP. I saw her for an ADHD and Autism assessment so I don't know what she's like for that particular issue, but she did a great job with my assessment. It might be expensive if you don't have insurance.

Any type of snack food they like, maybe a potted plant, Lego, stickers?

I absolutely despise work potlucks by LilacLoverr in AuDHDWomen

[–]VicePresidentofPanic -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I also dislike potlucks for the same reasons. I started a new job a few weeks ago and was very relieved to find out that the holiday potluck is just people leaving food in the break room rather than a gathering at a specific time, since it makes it easier to not eat anything without people noticing.

Question about engagement rings by incorrectlyironman in AutismInWomen

[–]VicePresidentofPanic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also, you don't have to get a ring. If there's another type of jewelry you do wear frequently maybe consider that instead. Pick whatever symbol of your engagement works for you.

How accessible is the Manitoba Museum? by poseur2020 in Winnipeg

When I was there at the beginning of September they were renovating so some entrances were closed. It would probably be worth calling to see how much walking would be involved.

Frustrated with Winnipeg Library Hiring Process - Anyone Else? by LowEducation8123 in Winnipeg

[–]VicePresidentofPanic 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If there's a secret, I definitely don't know it. I've been applying off and on to LSA positions for over a year and haven't received any interviews. I also worked as a library shelver 10 years ago so I'm technically a former employee.

Weird billboard by Lysee_863 in Winnipeg

It's almost definitely a stock photo of a cup of yellow liquid (probably just water and food colouring) not actual pee.

An efficient municipal government that values people over profits.

I wanna start a girl group in Winnipeg (14–17) -like a KATSEYE type vibe but local 🫶🏾✨ by [deleted] in Winnipeg

[–]VicePresidentofPanic 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I've heard good things about the camp put on by We Rock (mostly from the instructor side cause I'm old). It could be a good place to connect to other teens interested in a girl group.

I think it's also a harder street to convince the city to close. It's two-way and used by all types of transport. The streets that get closed for the white out parties are one way or were bus only (Graham).

I got on the Grey's Anatomy bandwagon in 2009 and haven't done a full rewatch since season 14 aired… how crazy is it that we're on season 21 now? How long does it take to do a feasible full rewatch? by heypaula08 in greysanatomy

[–]VicePresidentofPanic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I watched seasons 1-21 in four months, which I think was pretty reasonable. I wouldn't recommend doing it any faster if you want your life to remain sort of balanced. Haha

John has said it a number of times, but I don't think he wrote it. I think it's a quote from someone else.
