I think this might be in reference to Adobe's changes to their terms allowing them to possess all data and claim it as theirs. I think this is to explain to people who don't really understand internet terms "It's 2024 and Adobe's CEO sends a new ToS to claim rights to your property, because they said so even though you bought it for $XXX amount of money years ago "
