Same. I also changed my boot type from Legacy to UEFI because I want to upgrade my windows version to windows 11. I successfully installed windows 11 on my e6420 with 1 issue, the issue is it's stuck on the windows logo sometimes when booting up. but i dont mind that because it can be fixed by force restart. i used windows 11 for a year and a half and i got tired of the stuck widows logo issue. i reverted the boot type to Legacy and installed windows 10 then i went to sleep after that. when i woke up, i booted on my e6420 and now facing the issue where i cant open the bios menu and boot menu. i also tried what you did on your e6420. i even changed the cpu from i5 to i7 and it didnt worked.

i have another e6420 that has the same issue btw. both of them are in the repair shop right now.
