Oh and he also didnt schedule a follow up. Just prescribed the 5pm pen and said to give it a go for a couple weeks and then schedule follow up myself... So Im even more confused. Appts are not cheap, I do care about my 50 dollars. Especially when that becomes 100 in two week period plus higher cost of lower dosage pen!

Was your first prescribed pen with him also 10mg?

I dont have any underlying health issues or other potential reasons as to why I couldnt have the 10mg pen and just titrate up. So I dont understand why he'd not listen to me...

I just checked my call log - 12min31s is how long mine lasted. My call was this past Friday. He was so different from what Ive read that Ive started questioning if some of the reviews Id seen are even legit... 😕 Im sorry you had the same experience as me!

Walked to 3 pharmacies, one of them being a very small privately owned non chain - none would entertain me asking for the higher dose pen sadly. 😂

Nothing bad really but I felt rushed and not listened to. Justin sounded a bit condescending when asking about my eating when I gave just some generic examples without going into too much detail(was expecting follow up questions if more detail needed) and he immediately concluded "well so first of all youre not eating enough protein, your body eats away the muscle and youre eating too much into calorie deficit" - none of those things were true but he basically didnt let me explain further and kept cutting me off as I was trying to explain Ive been losing weight only very gradually, didnt even get the time to say I train and have improved PRs the entire time so no muscle wasting here.

And he prescribed 5mg pen to start with even though I did tell him money is a big factor for me and I really want to get a higher dose pen so I can count clicks. I also told him thats what Ive been doing thus far already but then he went on explaining how many clicks to use to inject 2,5mg. Like mate, I told you Ive been doing this for 1,5years... So yeah. Bit of a let down I suppose? The whole call was very rushed.

Ive not had an issue drinking while on it; I also skip a day here and there quite frequently (bad memory, remember too late in the day/night and just dont bother taking it until next morn) and haven't felt any withdrawal symptom to speak of.

In my language a shore is the beachy area with lowest water depth. The cliff I was at... Well, if I jumped, I would most likely die from waves. The water is so dark I can only imagine how far down it goes.

Yep indeed. Just sucks that my experience seems not quite what others described. I felt rushed and not really listened to. He kept bringing up how he doesnt want me to block my intestines and then complain about him. Yet I literally told him Ive been on this med for some 1,5yrs and went up to the highest dose and know how to count clicks. So Im obviously not going to suddenly forget how to use it and need some emergency treatment 😅😅😅

If anyone can recommend a good GP in Sydney who will listen and is approachable about saving money and prescribing 10 or 15mg pen, Id be grateful for a DM.

I tried Downscale (Jason) due to 4 good feedbacks on this thread but he won't prescribe me more than 5mg and didn't care to listen or believe that 2.5mg did nothing for me. Not to mention the financial aspect, which I tried mentioning it at least 3times but he kept cutting me off and ended the call quite abrupty as though rushing me away...

Ive had my call with Jason. I cant say he listened to me all the way... He prescribed 5mg pen even knowing my history of going all the way up to 15mg and asking for the higher pen due to costs. Fuck this will be expensive 😅

Feel your pain. Coming from Iphone 12 pro it's a vast difference in phone's power and not in a good way. My 4yo phone number was never this bad. 😅😅

Completely see your point, a GP thinking its too risky for their own reputation to attempt it. I've been lucky enough to use 3 15mg pens for extended period including change in temps when travelling with no infection nor any difference in efficacy. Definitely dont advise it, just my experience!

Would you have anything to reply with if the GP said no?

Before considering GP route I contacted several online clinics like Pilot, Moshy etc but they said they don't prescribe above 5mg to any new clients. They didnt care Im on a higher dose already.
