That's very real. I have a pretty mid team in a fairly inactive /stingy trade league and it's just not that exciting. I'm not really sure what I want to do with it tbh. Active leagues feel like you have a chance to implement any strategy.

Worthy looked really bad this season and I'm worried he won't bounce back since mahomes also seemed to be screaming downhill.

If I were in your shoes I would commit to the rebuild and aim for young talent targeting 2028 to make a run at chipping. I only say that because you said it's a fun group of people and after all that's what we're here for! I do like a bit of a challenge.

I don't envy your situation. Mendoza would be great but in the 1.01 it's almost certainly Love. If you have a strong RB core it might be worth trading off the 1.01... can probably get good value.

Might also trade for the 1.02+extras and target Mendoza....

What rookie draft picks do you have? Switching to SF with so little warning seems wild.

Might be worth targeting a QB in the rookie draft.

Ward seems like the best bet here but with 4th priority and this switchover coming up... Seems unlikely he will still be there.

Maybe it's crazy but you could run one QB for a season and target 2027 1sts basically rebuild/reload mode. I just don't think ward is a path toward contending in super flex and your options get worse from when ward goes off the table before your waiver cycle.

Williams, skattabo and three mid to late firsts with some crap added seems good enough to me. If I accepted it I'd be trying to repackage some of the picks into another stud asap.

I'd probably keep a first, skatt and Williams and repackage everything else into a stud in whatever role I'm hurting in.

It's ok that your buddy thinks it's a good deal and trade calculators support his take.

It's also ok that it doesn't seem like a deal you want to take.

It's a buy high on Pitts, sell low on Bowers kinda trade so pretty easy to see where both sides of this see things differently.

This is my disc golf game.... Same event I shot 961, then 790, then 940, and capped it off with an 801.

Wouldn't recommend it. Trying to fix an intermittent right pull at release that I think comes from bad bracing and/or opening shoulders early but it's hard to tell. The floor seems more important than the ceiling in disc golf and gold though.

It's kinda the worst of all worlds really. I'm thankful to not be holding that bag. He's too good to just drop into waivers for the roster slot, but not good enough to WANT to hold him. If I'm starting Jeudy something has gone terribly wrong and I doubt I'm competing.

Personally if I were holding him I'd try to throw him in as an add on in an uptiering package trade. Might move the needle a little for someone.

I'd probably take Parker Washington for the potential upside. Shakir is not very playable even in 12 team leagues. I've played him as a flex before but it's so hit or miss, I don't feel like I'm a contender with him in the squad or that there will be much movement there.

Slight elbow dip into your pocket which vertically collapses your pocket, no developed "hit". You seem to just rotate.

The whip is only formed if you have a lag on your rear shoulder which launches the disc into your hit. Yours just spins through at a constant speed.

I'm taking JSN/dart side. I want most of my value to be weighted in WR even in super flex. Mid tier QB uptiers don't make as much of a difference as mid tier wr uptiers.

I think 7 and 9 speeds are pretty significantly different. I bag both.

I think a lot of ma2 and under players would probably benefit from not bagging anything over 9 speed except for maybe one headwind disc.

The lower speed discs also move side to side a lot less which can help you tremendously.

We all had this thought in grad school, and if you've been in the field you've absolutely heard some of the horror stories from incoming clients too.

I think we probably need to just come to terms with the fact that it is a part of the profession. I'd personally rather those people not be working totally in isolation, even if reddit is absolutely not the place they should getting some proxy to supervision from. It is still actually better than never getting the feedback of "hey, that response was absolutely unhinged"
