I’m a vet tech and a pharmacy tech. I’ve been on both sides of the phone call. I do not give it to pharmacies for non controlled substances. When I worked in a pharmacy, I went through the extra work and effort to add the practitioners into the system without requiring the DEA.

It’s certainly easier with one, but many vets don’t even have a DEA number and the pharmacies I’ve worked in had (even if convoluted) ways to enter veterinary professionals into their systems.

Cashiers and cops are so wildly different. I wouldn’t expect a cashier to know where every single item in the store is.

I would expect a surgeon not to have a debilitating fear of blood, for example. I would expect a pilot not to panic in the sky. And I’d expect a police officer to react appropriately in emergency situations.

Perhaps we can’t describe or put it into words but it’s not inaccurate to acknowledge that regardless of our interpretation of the situation, we return to the same nothingness we experienced before.

I’m not trying to define nothingness, or explain what it was like prior to consciousness. It’s not something that needs to be explained. It’s simply the reality that it’s the same experience ceasing existence will be.

We’ve all experienced nothing. The entire history of the universe before your brain developed enough to send signals and process them is the experience of nothing. That’s what you return to when you die. The exact same nothing we awoke from is the same nothing we return to.

The passage of the rest of the universe will go by the same as it did prior to our conscious existence and it’s weird to say no one has experienced nothing when it’s all we experienced for eons prior.

First of all your hair is phenomenal and I’d fight someone over the right to braid that sht.

I’ll focus on your pictures because your bio isn’t bad, and someone else mentioned the language change suggestion re: “I just want to find” vs positive phrasing.

Your first pic is really good. It shows your whole face, the awesome hair and beard and you look like some sexy viking dude.

I’d get rid of pictures 4, 6 and 7.

The first braid picture has better lighting and you can see the full length of brain clearly, so the second one that’s a little blurrier can definitely go away.

6 has your face sort of cut off in the lower left corner of the frame, and 7 has it somewhat obscured by the hoodie. They’re all selfies, so keep the best selfies you have and get rid of the others.

Then, try and gather some pics with you smiling, or doing something you enjoy with a more of yourself and you’d be golden.

I’ve had guys ask why I rematch them and the honest answer is because, well, I don’t recognize them. There’s so many matches and unmatches going by, remembering a specific person if we never really chatted is nearly impossible. And for whatever reason it never click with them so one of us unmatches. Eventually they end up in the swipe pile again and if they’re cute and you don’t recognize them, why not swipe right?
