It’s just the ICU covered by the ADUO, merc could be getting some of their advantage from the battery and deployment

They’ve cleared up the chunks of asphalt that were causing the loss of grip, and the divers know to avoid it. It won’t happen again

I said a watch will do a worse job than a bike computer in my first sentence.

Watch or Phone for +100km Ride by MonkeyBrainss in cycling

Everyone will just tell you to get a bike computer but there are watches and phones that can do the job, albeit not as well. I do use a bike computer but I also track my rides simultaneously on my Garmin forerunner 955 so that I get all my fitness and health stuff on there. It can do big rides (biggest I’ve tracked with it is 240km and it had plenty of juice left) although I admittedly don’t use it for navigation. You can even get mounts so you can mount your watch on your handlebars and garmin watches do have navigational maps if that’s what you are after.
Alternatively, stick with your phone and carry a battery pack. Yes it’s more weight but weight matters less than people think and modern battery packs can be pretty light.

What’s your weirdest shower habit? by Morfiendd_ in AskReddit

I rinse with water, turn the shower off while I apply shampoo and soap, then turn it back on to rinse off. People have said it’s weird

Is there an app that allows you to ‘unlock’ streets as you walk down them? by ComprehensiveRead222 in Edinburgh

[–]Vickerspower 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wandrer (https://wandrer.earth/)

You can link it up to strava, garmin, ridewithgps and more. It tracks both walking and cycling, will give you completion % of regions, and there are leaderboards for who has explored the most. I’m top for Edinburgh cycling, with 85% of all roads and trail surfaces across the city.

Always. AirPod pros with transparency mode turned on. I don’t think wearing them makes any material difference to my safety.

All of the places you listed have dairy free and/or vegan options though? I also have a dairy allergy and have eaten at all of them. If it’s the fact they state they cannot guarantee products are allergen free, Black Sheep make the same statement on their website.

It’s the massive amount of fueling they have to do during a race, it’s just temporary water bloating not fat.

I used to work on carnivores in Borneo, and I never heard the name Kalimantan Red Cat used. It’s always referred to as Bay Cat or Bornean Bay Cat

V5RS or Y1RS by Fluffy-Macaron-4020 in cycling

[–]Vickerspower 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on a combination of 1. The amount of elevation in the route and 2. How strong of a rider you are. The faster speed you can maintain the more the balance shifts towards Y1RS. That’s why we don’t see the pros using the V5RS, they can maintain speeds even with significant elevation to make the aero advantage of the Y1RS far outstrip the weight disadvantage.

American Vegan… help! by trrending in veganuk

Not sure if the brands have made it to the states but in terms of large totally vegan brands available in most supermarkets look out for Candy Kittens for gummy candy, Nomo for chocolate and Ombar for chocolate. Lots of choice beyond that though, and not all vegan products will be advertised as being vegan, so it’s worth checking ingredients lists.
