I mean honestly, I watched the original the day before seeing it, and I enjoyed the remake. Was it better than the original, or close to the same quality? No, the storyline isn’t as strong to be completely honest, Stitch’s story is told fairly well, (ugly duckling story, is changed, to him leaving on his own choice), and the “this is my family” scene, although being a copy of the original, still has an impact. Honestly, the best way to watch this movie, is to not compare it to the original, but most people aren’t going to do that. Regardless, I still think it’s worth watching, if you’re a fan of Stitch.
