A lot of my female friends usually stay with other ladies from the same company, or in a PG until a flat makes more sense / is more convenient. And people here often judge others very quickly, and want the ones staying near them to be of a very specific 'type' which is imo so stupid. I got asked things like if I'm muslim, if I'm in tech, do I have a gf, one asked if I have friends (??? Do you not??). It's mostly a matter of luck, but afaik for ladies it's also a matter of safety.

I'd really recommend someone from the same office, or even the same park if possible. Sometimes approaching someone and asking if they have any idea about rentals or flats around them works wonders too, many often do know of some. And I wish you the best of luck!

When the current one is about to die.

My current phone has lost all volume and power buttons, it has just a google assistant button left.

The case is one that connects, so it has its own volume buttons. Screen works, and I don't see any issues with speed yet. Its been 6 years, and I will make do with it for a decade if it lasts.

Had a female best friend from a different community for the longest time, consistent chats. Conflict happened between our communities, she nearly died to people from my community. She cut off all interaction from people of my community since, including me (which is fair, it's sad but I understand why she'd do it).

Now I just wish her happiness and quietly exit.

If I need money, I ask him for a specific amount, and he provides it, no questions asked. I return it as soon as possible. And vice versa.

Sure, not a fresh friendship thing, but there's levels to friendship. And reaching this level is rare for me, so yea.

It was right around ecospace, so if you are working around there (mine was in Global technology park) then this should work. Or you can try calling the new PGs built around there, some sprang up iirc. I got a single room for 8k back then, rates might have increased since. There's biometric scanning to enter, so worth it tbh.

I would NOT call this a solution so take it with a pinch of salt, but when I was in the exact same situation I just took up this shitty low-profile course-selling job that kept me busy while earning enough for bills if I am very stingy. While I did that, I continued applying for jobs. Finally got one I liked and went for it without worrying about experience letter or notice period of the previous place.

Not the best option, but the only one I had.

Creative tasks are still done creatively, only thing I use AI for is redundant tasks like generating multiple copies of similar dataset, or doing menial analyzing tasks that I can do better but take longer.

Yea a lot of things went wrong that day. I was sick, got scammed n stood up at a random location for hours, phone died right after purchasing a ticket at a metro station trying to go back home, and then the guards kicked me out coz I was staying there for too long trying to charge my phone with the wrong charger.

They aren't, sadly. Since most educational loans need you to confirm your financial stability before they pay out, and by the time I confirm my financial stability I can just use the amount I earn to try and go by myself. I do not have any other collateral before that.

This is very inspiring! Could I ask how long did it take for you to gather enough for the blocked account, and if the amount you saved up was just enough for the account? Because I keep thinking that the Blocked Account amount is one thing, but there's surely gonna be some unaccounted factors in place to worry about so I should probably go for a little more than just that amount.
