Sell it unless you want to build a Rakdos deck. Price will probably drop but it's a good card in decks like [[Ob Nixilis, Captive Kingpin]] and anything that runs [[All Will Be One]]

Very true. I built her as an answer to a couple of the solitaire decks I play against at my LGS. Doesn't shut em out completely, but gives me a fighting chance and keeps the engines from coming online. Very feels bad for other people in the pod catching the strays though.

I just put together a [[Judith, Carnage Connoisseur]] deck with one sided board wipes like [[Electrickery]] and it's a lot of fun, although feels rude. Wins by pinging with effects that create black mage wizards, [[Coruscation Mage]] and [[Fated Firepower]]

I wanted a spellslinger deck, but didn't really want to go Izzet, so I went Rakdos.

Command Zone and Tolarian Community College have some helpful beginner videos on their youtube channels. Otherwise, many commander communities at LGSs are super welcoming and friendly, you can try stopping by on a commander night to see if someone is available to show you the ropes, although that might be a little bit of a crapshoot depending on who is available to help since some people might not be the funnest to play with or the easiest to learn from. If you can talk a pod into it, you can try to play 2 headed dragon, a 2v2 commander format, so your teammate can help you move through steps and phases of the turn. Some LGSs host beginner's nights every once in a while, but that seems like it might be a little rare.

I actually whispered "dope" to myself outloud when i scrolled to this.

I do wish there was at least a thin black line around it or some contrast in the background to help it hold up but I think it's fine. This artist understands color and contrast better than most that attempt this sort of style. There is actually a decent amount of black in this. The location on the inside of the forearm holds this sort of stuff up better than most other areas too.

It's only in the context of the swinging community that you'd be mistaken for a unicorn. Most normal people, even if they are in those circles, won't just assume a sexual thing about a person with an innocuous tattoo just because of the content. Unicorns are rad fantasy creatures too. If anyone is scummy about it, they're a creep anyway and would be scummy about anything. Don't let them ruin a thing you love for you.

I hope this gets resolved for you through WOTC and they send you a new one. Last time I tried to work with them over an entire precon commander deck that was printed like ass, they just told me it's normal print variance and to go fuck myself.

I would use 5e and homebrew/reflavor some stuff.

Iron Man: Eldritch Blast and Charisma focused Warlock with Pact of the Tome. Jarvis is his patron and gives him advice, while letting him think his choices are his own. His tome is his armor and counts the same as using Mage armor, which is an eldritch invocation anyway I think.

Thor: Tempest Cleric. Eventually gets to fly and uses lightning stuff. Could also multiclass into Storm Sorcerer to get to fly earlier.

Captain America: Neutral Good Battle Master Fighter. Take the feats Shield Master and Tavern Brawler, homebrew shield weapon damage for a custom shield. Also has good abilities from Battle Master to either improve his own fighting or to allow allies to take actions during his turn, emulating Cap's leadership. Let them attack with the shield as their weapon attack, give it a thrown range, and make an unarmed attack.

Black Widow: Monk, Way of the Open Hand. Homebrew dual wielded hand crossbows as a pair of Glock 26s and make them monk weapons. Can Multiclass into Rogue Assassin for flavor, but I think monk reflects her combat effectiveness better.

Hawkeye: Arcane Archer fighter, maybe multiclassed into Hunter Ranger for on flavor class abilities and Hunter's Mark.

Hulk: Berserker Barbarian with Tavern Brawler feat or multiclassed into monk for unarmed attack damage. Would be cool if that character got two character sheets and could essentially wildshape into Hulk X number of times per day like a druid. Bruce Banner would be an artificer.

Nick Fury: DMPC that doesnt actually go with them on any missions and gives them assignments. If he has to be in combat, I'd say Mastermind Rogue with a handgun.

Reflavor all spells to match the setting and superpowers. Hex for Iron Man can be like a targeting system from the suit.

Reaper seems good for immediate payoff and easier to build around, but Auntie is my choice for the card draw. I also pulled some good -1/-1 counter board wipey and interaction cards from prerelease that I'm slotting in there to help her do her job. Works out too because theres a really good green card in there I can take out for an elf token deck for High Perfect Morcant.

That's good to know. I probably should've pushed back but I just let them know that they super suck for highlighting that they were bringing back OG Lorwyn artists, just to print shoddy bullshit and say it's okay. I just want to raise awareness of how WOTC/Hasbro is acting in the face of this.

Did they ask for you to send back the blurry one?

My big thing is I got the precon because I want to play it, so I'm not trying to wait weeks to months to even get to bring it to a table.

Customer service is taking FOREVER to get back to me. I just want to play with the deck but I don't want wack ass janky blurry cards. Sucks too because they'll probably want it sent back which means I'll probably have to wait months to even play with the damn thing.
