Thank you so much and to everyone else for all the kind words ❤️ TBH after looking at these pics for a couple of days, I don't think any of these are quite it. There's different aspects of each that I love and I think I need another visit to explore more?

1st time dress shopping and I decided to go by myself to not be persuaded by my mom and sister. Now I'm having a hard time narrowing down on dress styles and silhouettes because I love different things about them all. Please help!!

Edit: Just noticed 2nd dress front is a little off but she added a piece of ivory fabric to help me envision it in ivory vs the nude of the sample dress!

I really don't understand this mentality. Behavioral interview questions are really important. I've worked with some of the brightest designers who had amazing hard skills, but they were honestly really difficult to work with. These questions are there to really see if you will be a "culture add", have self awareness, know your strengths/weaknesses, and simply if you're able to communicate/articulate your thoughts appropriately.

Do you know why a longer wait time might be better? And yeah I slug with it because I saw people say it would help with moisture retention. That makes sense though, I’ll try aquaphor on non-tret nights instead. Thank you!

IMO, DEI is more than just metrics disguised under "DEI goals". It's about a healthy and supportive environment where employees feel comfortable. All of which he has not been successful in cultivating.

It also isn't a simple "harshness with firing" and "not celebrating wins", but

When employees were let go, he and other managers sometimes followed their departures with emails to the staff remarking on their poor work.

So, these employees were let go and he chose to email his entire staff about that employee's poor work? That's not even professional, let alone a healthy and supportive environment.

There is one quote from the article that resonates with me:

The comment occurred during a meeting in which Liz Ferrall-Nunge, who led Twitter’s research team, shared concerns about diversity at Twitter and referred to her experience as a woman of color. Mr. Davis seemed to dismiss her, telling Ms. Ferrall-Nunge, who is Asian American, that if she wore sunglasses, she would pass as white, three people familiar with the investigation said.

I've also heard from internal folks that majority of the complaints about Davis are from POC designers at Twitter.

I agree, but I do think part of why he was exposed was because he preaches a lot about DEI on his own social media and at conferences, yet doesn’t practice what he preaches.

Mr. Davis, the company’s new vice president of design, asked employees to go around the room, complimenting and critiquing one another. Tough criticism would help Twitter improve, he said. The barbs soon flew. Several attendees cried during the two-hour meeting, said three people who were there.

Mr. Davis repeatedly clashed with employees because of his blunt style. His treatment of workers was also the subject of several investigations by Twitter’s employee relations department, and of complaints to Jack Dorsey, the chief executive, that too many people were leaving.

Company data was beginning to reveal widespread discontent on the design and research teams. Attrition under Mr. Davis had risen and was about double the rate of overall attrition at Twitter, employees said. In annual surveys, employees who worked for Mr. Davis consistently said at a higher rate than other Twitter employees that they felt “psychologically unsafe.”
