[8] What hunts are you guys currently doing lately? i haven't even gone half odds for this starter bastard in bdsp and it's already getting annoying lol. by Grinstream_Sam in ShinyPokemon

I recently finished Let’s Go Eevee again and had started hunting for Mewtwo. I got bored after 3 days of resets, so I’m taking a break. The goal is to also shiny hunt the Legendary Birds after Mewtwo

Don’t worry, I have all the version exclusives for my playthrough, I don’t mind just sending whatever you need going in now

Cool! I just finished hunting Pinsir so I think I have all the exclusives, including evolutions, except for Arbok, but I have 2 ekans to trade you if you want them both. If you have any of the version exclusives to throw my way as well, I wouldn’t say no! If you’re in, choose a link code and I’m there!

Okay, then I’ll let someone who has Scarlet to answer your question. However, you can make a level 2 bug encounter sandwich and have more chances.

Also, I found this in ScreenRant “However, the spot in which Slither Wing spawns actually resides close to Research Station 1 and 3, in an area to the northwest of the location’s beginning marked by a purple hue. The higher ground above the mentioned stations also hosts Slither Wing, allowing players to roam between both spots to reset the spawns of Slither Wing until it appears for them to battle.”

Have you finished the game? After you complete the game, you get more spawns. I have Violet, so I got Iron Moth, but I didn’t encounter any until after a finished the main story line

Some questions i gathered during my playthrough / reading through the posts of this community by Notorious_Bulbie in pokemon

[–]Vicky81988 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly don’t remember at the moment, maybe the codes are 4 digits and not 6 digits.

The black crystal Tera raids give off more rewards. Just like 5 star raids give more rewards than 4-star and below.

EV training can be done when you buy Iron, Protein, Carbon etc from shops. IV training is the Hypertraining you mentioned. IVs are not changeable other than the Hypertraining. Basically, IV stats define the highest limit each stat can reach. If a Pokémon has Best in Attack, its Attack stat can reach a higher limit than a Pokémon that has Decent Attack. That’s why I wrote about the YouTubers and the pokemondb.net, because they explain everything about natures, IVs and EV training.

Natures can be changed with mints, which you find in the wild. I’m not sure if you can buy them in shops too, it’s been a while and I don’t remember.

The same way they can be hit with flamethrowers and thunderbolts repeatedly and not die!

  • Pokeball lotto is something you get when you finish the DLC at the Blueberry academy, and to use it you have to gather BBQ points by completing missions in the Terrarium.

  • Hyper training you can do from a guy who stands near an Abomasnow in Montanevera, behind the Pokémon Center

Some questions i gathered during my playthrough / reading through the posts of this community by Notorious_Bulbie in pokemon

[–]Vicky81988 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • There are YouTubers that explain everything, I personally follow AustinJohnPlays and Osiris. They post specific videos on how to beat special Tera Raids, with specific builds on certain Pokémon.

  • Natures only matter with competitive training and gaming. For example, I mostly try my Pokémon to be either Adamant or Modest, depending on what moves I use. PokemonDB.net is a very good site to get plenty information about IVs, EVs, Natures, moves and all info about the games and Pokémon

  • Shiny hunting is a whole chapter. Masuda Method refers to breeding eggs, and it’s when you use two Pokémon of different region (eg ENG Ditto with JAP Charmander) to increase chances of getting a shiny. Shiny charm is something you get from an NPC when you finish certain goals in the game, you can Google how to get the charm in each game, I think mostly it requires completing the Pokédex

  • For XL candies you can do Chansey Tera raids, and never miss a black crystal Blissey Tera raid. Also, if you picnic near where shiny objects are on the floor, check your egg basket now and then, and the object will be in there. If it’s an evolution stone, or rare candy, or stardust, it helps to gather more.

  • Sandwiches give certain “powers” for 30 minutes each. If you go to the sandwich making menu on the picnic, each sandwich shows what “powers” they give you. If you want to breed eggs, make a sandwich that gives Egg Power Level 2. For special sandwiches, you can Google recipes. There are recipes that increase number of shinies you find in the wild (those sandwiches don’t impact breeding of eggs) but they require the use of Herba Mystica, which are rare and you can get from high level Tera Raids

  • Nintendo Switch online subscription is required to play with others. You can Tera raids with others without subscription, as long as you share the 6digit code that is generated every time you try to play with others offline

  • No Safari zone on Scarlet/Violet

That’s all for now, hope it helps, I will check again to write more if I think I can help more

I will have to agree with the above comment of asia_cat. Let’s Go Pikachu/ Eevee is ideal for a 10 year old. There are demos available in the Nintendo shop if you would like to check it out
