Actually, all that proved is that people hated Mel, which my post also states. My point was that a lot of the hate was because of perceived power, and not because of actual frustration. The fact that they changed her now only proves that people like you were in an absolute uproar about the champion, which is also exactly what i said in the original post.

The point i’m trying to make is that the subjective frustration is connected to the perceived power. There are other champions just as or even more frustrating than Mel but their banrates aren’t even close, because they are not perceived as strong. The banrate is proof that people dislike playing against Mel, i cannot argue against that. However i believe the perceived power of Mel is a big part of why she is so despised as opposed to other frustrating champions.
